Mark Page Sworn In As New Vice-president
On December 7th, 2021, CWA 7270 held a local meeting at the VFW in Rosemount, MN. Due to the bad weather, there wasn’t much of a turnout. But, several topics were discussed, including: Covid vaccinations, an extension to the current work at home program, new employees, retiring employees, technician concerns, grievances, and preparing for contract bargaining next year. At the close of the meeting, President Carson Turnquist did the honor of swearing in our new Vice-president, Mark Page.
“I am honored and excited to be the local’s new Vice-president! I am looking forward to be a part of the new leadership team. We work well together and have new and exciting ideas that will help our local. I have been with Frontier for 26 years and have been involved in helping where I can. I have been a steward, Chief Steward, Election Committee Chair, and Executive Board member. I maintain the local’s website, designed forms, helped maintain our seniority roster, and performed membership dues audit. I have organized and been involved with several fund raising efforts and community services such as: The March of Dimes walks, Toys for Tots, Fuzz Fozz (stuffed animals for Law Enforcement to give to kids), Polar Bear Plunge, Farmington Dew Days Parade, and Burnsville Road-side cleanup.”
Please reach out to me with your ideas, concerns, or just to say hello! I look forward to getting to know everyone! mpage@cwa7270.org 612-940-3473
