CWA Local 7270 metro meetings have been scheduled.  The dates are:  September 27th and December 6th.  They will be held at the Rosemount VFW and start at 6pm.  Follow up meetings for the southwestern Minnesota folks via conference call are planned for   September 29th and December 8th.  They will be held via conference call at 6pm.

CWA 7270 Contract Tentative Agreement has been accepted.  The ballots were counted and the results were as follows:

Agreement Accepted  –  38

Agreement Not Accepted  –  3

Your bargaining committee is proud to say that we had held strong and have reached a Tentative agreement that we are satisfied to bring back to the membership.

Meetings (In Person) are tentatively set for June 20 and June 21. Tentative schedule is below pending confirmation from meeting locations.

CWA 7270 congratulates Jon Jorgenson in his retirement at the end of May.  Jon has worked for Frontier for 45 years!  He has been working as the CO tech in Lakeville for a number of years and will be dearly missed.  A gathering took place last Thursday at Babes Sports Bar and Grill in Lakeville.  Many friends attended to help Jon celebrate.  We all wish Jon a happy retirement and best wishes in his future plans.  Thanks Jon for your service!!
